Dancehall producer Papi Don’s tap of new music continues to flow, most recently with the release of a sizzling new project, the Alien Mode Riddim.
Featured on his Papi Don Muziq label, the riddim features a superstar lineup of artistes, including Alandon, Takeova, Kemar Highcon & Quada, Shaneil Muir, Versi and Vershon.
Officially dropped on April 11th, the riddim has been doing exceptionally well and the producer couldn’t be happier with the reception so far.
“The feedback is good, the audience just keeps looking for more content, so right now consistency is just the key thing,” Papi Don expressed.
Since starting his label in 2017, the young producer has been consistently building his brand by keeping up with the demand for good music and this new project plays its role well in providing just that.
Hailing from Montego Bay the Cornwall College graduate ventured into music with the noble intention of giving strength to those who had the talent but limited exposure.
“I actually decided to start doing music after seeing one of my friends with great potential not getting the recognition I believed he deserved, so I decided to help him in that area. I figured that in order to get him recognition, I have to be putting him in line ups with artistes that are already known. Right there and then, producing music came into play,” he explained.
Papi Don has had the opportunity to work with some of the more current names in the business such as Teejay (Uptop Boss), Chronic Law, Christopher Martin, Jah Vinci and has released impactful riddims, namely Purge Season Riddim, Push Broom Riddim, and Ghetto Story Riddim.
With his versatile and fresh take on dancehall music, Papi Don plans to take the scene by storm.
“Music is constantly changing; the audience is expecting something new, something different every time, so I will always produce quality music for everyone to enjoy. My style is just to stay working and try to do better than the last project,” the producer added.
Following the Alien Mode Riddim, expect more from the producer, namely a few big projects with artistes such as Teejay, Chronic Law, Daddy1 and Shaneil Muir.
