Mr. Williamz is sharing the visual for: ‘More Weed’ (Remix) via tenwest and Scalpaz. The remix builds on the original with the addition of grime legends: Footsie and Frisco, ‘The fresh prince of Harlesden’- Big Zeeks, and enchanting dancehall newcomer Ni’sha. The video was directed by LAH Media and is releasing through Link Up TV.
This is the latest in a string of increasingly prolific moves for Mr. Williamz – including features on Shy FX’s LP: ‘Raggamuffin Soundtape’, a collaboration with Pressure on ‘Your Style’ at the start of 2019 and an acting role in Idris Elba’s film – ‘Yardie.
About Mr. Williamz:
Mr Williamz’ musical career started with an early education: his first clash was in Jamaica at the age of 8 (which he won). Coming back to London at the age of 9, he was heavily influenced by the sounds and style of 90’s dancehall and reggae. He began emerging on the scene with his first official release: ‘Babylon Helicopter’ for Necessary Mayhem, which was followed by ‘No Cigarette’.
Now a veritable sound system veteran of the highest distinction, Mr. Williamz has collaborated with leading producers, including: Major Lazer, Shy FX, Mungo’s Hi-fi and Green Lion Crew and has recorded and performed with the likes of: Chronixx, Damian Marley, Gappy Ranks, Hollow Point, Jah Mason, Junior Demus, Mikey General, Pinchers, Spragga Benz, Stephen Marley, Supercat and Topcat.
