Stargate Backing Band presents the Love Like That Riddim, their second “one riddim album” after the BU Riddim. Entirely self-produced, the French label’s production features big reggae names including Luciano, Pressure and Turbulence.
A musical and visual project by drummer and key figure in Stargate, David Attal, this is a riddim in the purely Jamaican spirit. Effortless and determined, peaceful and warlike, its double impact rests on a soft and warm one drop, with a guitar arpeggio refrain, whose vibrations generate a powerful dynamic.
Blaze by Pressure Busspipe is out now, accompanied by its music video. April 16th sees the release of Message To Humanity by Turbulence, with Love Of The Lifetime by Righteous Child dropping on April 23rd. Finally, on May 7th, the full album will be released on all digital platforms, distributed by VPAL Music. The video for Prince Levy‘s Vows comes out the same day.
