A dreamed combination for lovers of reggae in Spanish in the feathers and voices of Kingoroots (Gondwana’s ex-vocalist) and Tiano Bless, a song that invites us to reflect and from the force of love, to awaken the peoples and their awareness to face the “Pirates who deceive my people”, this is how we present in the Redención Riddim the song “Fuego”
In these times that we live in, the human being in society has been in charge of putting up barriers, milestones, excuses to separate and make ourselves different from each other for any social, racial, physical, political reason, and a long etc.
Leaving things on another plane that unite and find us, and that far from separating us make us meet in addition to valuing each other even with our differences, one of those ways of the meeting is through music, that magic that makes it possible to unite between brothers with similar cultures, stories found in icons that represent us, and the same language, which makes this CONEXIÓN EN ESPAÑOL possible
This concept of unifying in an album the largest number of “Spanish-speaking” countries with at least one representative by nationality, was born from the idea of doing a project together in combination with Venezuela, Costa Rica, and that is how Costa Rebel and Desde ElGhetto achieved bring together 12 representatives from Argentina, Cuba, Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile, Spain, Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, Venezuela and the special guest Jamaica.
Costa Rebel together with George Dread devised the concept of each of the instrumentals that were created at Costa Rebel Studio, originally for Conexión en Español.
One of them is the Redención Riddim, an instrumental that expresses a feeling of need for change, a transformation from a given situation to something better. It is a Rockers with classic influence and Steppers rhythm.
This time we present the first single track for CONEXIÓN EN ESPAÑOL and we traveled to CHILE, to enjoy the solid talent of two South American reggae legends in the same song.
